GOOD SUNDAY!
i was roaming watsons when i saw this eyeshadow palette with a lovely colour combination. here it is, the 1028 visual therapy muse eyeshadow in shade 02, essential pink.

they're new in singapore btw.


it's a mixture of pink and browns.



from top left, in clock wise motion:

base colour: it's a baby pink with a pearly finish
middle colour: brown with a tinge of reddish-undertone, close to rose gold. contains shimmery and has a metallic finish.
liner colour: a dark brown with a satin finish, also contains some micro shimmery.
highlight colour: a wash of huge shimmer and glitter.

the texture for the middle and liner colour is extremely soft and smooth. the two other colour felt a little harder.

does this entice you? too bad i already have my kate colorcious diamond (the rose gold and liner shade is very similar, the only difference are the two lighter shades). and i'm still learning to work with pastel shades, so i'm giving this a pass, for now, but not for long.

this time round for swatchsunday, i've raided some of my mom's lipsticks (ok, actually that's the only two that she has.. and they were gifts from me!) to do this "battle of the sultry lipsticks" entry.

revlon
super lustrous matte 010 wine not: a deep reddish-purplish berry shade. it's very much like a wine shade, as the name suggests. matte finish.
colorburst matte balm 225 sultry: a slightly lighter version of the wine not, more pink, less purple. velvetly finish.
super lustrous 130 rose velvet: it appears brown next to the previous two shades, much warmer. i described it as a brown with a pink undertone in my previous swatchsunday. creamy and has a slight sheen.

za pure shine lips be1 praline: a sheer and shiny beige, most yellowish out of all.

one of my favourite past time is looking at colours, since i already got my hands dirty (pun intended), i may as well make better use of it! when i'm at a mall with nothing better to do, i'll head for the drugstore and start swatching :P

maybe this will be of use to someone like me (who constantly look at swatches online because sometimes i wanna get a product that's not available in singapore..!)

460 blushing mauve (creamy): a pink with a hint of purple
840 honey bare (shine): beige with yellow/peach undertone
510 berry rich (creamy): muted hot pink
130 rose velvet: brown with a pink undertone
830 rich girl red (shine): sheer bright red, reminds me of the revlon just bitten balm stain in 045 rendezvous in terms of colour and texture

kate jewel carat eyes
pk 1: shimmery greyish pink // glittery and sheer pink // satin greyish purple

maybelline lip polish
glam 2: bright pinkish red
glam 14: beige with a hint of brown

za liquid rouge
rd301: nudy red - it's very similar to glam 14, but with more red in it.

etude house
fresh cherry tint pk001: light baby pink (glossy)
color lip fit pk003: bright neon pink (applies glossy, turns matte after some time)

loreal color riche
bp401 beige sienna (creamy): nude with a hint of pink/red
bp404 fuzzy taupe (creamy): nude with more brown as compared to the beige sienna
